Its been too quiet in here so I'm going to gab for a minute. I finished two paintings. I am working on getting a third out of the way. I have all the materials needed to start putting Joshua's picture book together. Hoping to do one complete page a week and build the illustrations needed. Its going to be a fun project. I still don't know what I'm doing but we'll get it done.
I heard back from PPWC on how to handle Kahty's registration. They gave me a 50% discount for her since she will be eating the food that Joshua cannot eat. And she's not there for the conference. She's there as Joshua's aide. They created a special category for her and I'm really appreciative of the price break. I would have paid full price if I had to but it seems so wasteful to sign up for more food than will get used. Kathy is really excited about going.
While I'm talking about Kathy, I'm a bit worried. She is losing weight again. She feels good. She looks good but her weight is still dropping. She's doing better at eating so I'm hoping the weight loss will stop and she can regain some. I know, that at some point, the cancer will win, but I hope she has some years for happiness. lots of years. But it worries me.
I'm still trying to get Knock Knock pulled together. I run out of time. Somehow, I have to tweak my time to allow for all the projects. It would help if I felt better. Lots of body aches and headaches. I have an appointment with the chiropractor on Monday. I'll get back into my regular adjustments and that should take care of the headaches.
We're busy with artwork, Joshua's almost got his picture book completely written. Its rough draft and will need adjusted but the gist of the story is there and its cute and as well as informative. I hope.
I did go back over his agenda at Pikes Peak and what I thought was an agent pitch is actually a query 1 on 1 so I'm really happy about that. We can show them what we've got and get some guidance on how to strengthen our pitch.
