Thank you for the sympathy card. We're doing okay. I'm keeping busy expanding the time I spend writing and setting up a space for painting. Joshua is back in PT and he sees the doctor today. I'm going to see if I can get him back into speech. Sadness hits but its the price we pay for living and loving.
Being back in Kansas brings me happiness and peace. I stand in my yard and I can see a bit of the Flint Hills. What I need now is to get all the red tape handled and just be at peace for awhile. I'm so tired of dealing with problems.
The elevator should be operational today. If I can find somebody local who can do the backfilling for me, that should take care of all the immediate jobs. I'm still waiting for my garage doors to be finished. And I need to get all my stuff out of storage. Once the elevator work in the basement is done, I should be able to start organizing the space down there.

You're welcome. I'm so glad you made it to Kansas before he passed. It has to help.
We are going up to Kansas City on Saturday to move Sydney's stuff. Then the weekend of June 13 I'm going to Roswell. I usually go the week of July 4, but since the UFO Festival was canceled they talked me into coming earlier. Dad's birthday is June 16 and Carol's is June 17. She turns 40, so it will be a fun year to be there with her. She lost her father-in-law a couple of weeks before you lost Hank.
What in the world do you get a 40-year-old sister for her birthday? Yikes!

Most women are just happy to be remembered. What about a gift card to one of her favorite stores?
