You're on a roll! Keep up the good work!
As soon as I know which day we'll be moving Sydney back from Kansas City I'll talk to you about a time to come visit. Her birthday's Wednesday, will be 22. Wow, where had the time gone!
MM 2 - I paused writing to spend time this week to brainstorm and plot. I think I'm ready to return to writing this week and hopefully can get some good words.
When the Time is Right - I sent out a few more queries this week.
Kansas Author Club - June 15 is the deadline for contest entries. I made list of which stories I want to enter and will take time the next two weeks to read through and do any tweeking before entering.
Church blob - I finished and posted a short devotional on my churches blog. I'd like to write more devotionals, but struggle to find time for them, so I write as ideas come and I have time.
Marketing - Tabor College contacted me because they saw the press release in the newspaper and interviewed me for an article on their website.

I read the article. I love it when a person gets recognition. I was thrilled so I can just imagine how you felt. Had a lot of company today. Tom, Linda, and Hank showed up for a visit on their way to Marilyn's. Then Nyla came over. Barb and Mike stopped by for a short visit. Of course, they all showed up before I had the house cleaned. I'm changing my Sunday cleaning to Friday cleaning. Then I'll be prepared for weekends. Tomorrow the elevator should get here. I have no idea how long it will take to get it installed.

The elevator is installed and working. All the garage doors and openers are installed and working. House is clean and my plan is to work on the synopsis and work on getting the art studio functional. When I took the dogs outside, some ladies who walk every morning stopped and invited us to church tomorrow. I'm really considering it. I'd love to find a church to attend. Choir is the draw. They do have a choir but due to the virus they have not been meeting. But there is a choir. I'm really interested in meeting some of the community. Just not sure if I'm ready to brave groups yet. But I'll see what the morning brings.

Oh, that's exciting! I hope you're able to make it to church; and if not this week then next. That's a great way to meet people in the community. I know Mom was always involved in the church choir, not matter where we attended. I don't think I ever appreciated her singing ability.

While watching TV I had a major plot twist appear. I'm really pleased.

Good job!
MM2 - I think I've worked through my subplot issue and got some new writing done this week.
Other - I submitted a few entries into the Kansas Author's Club contests. The deadline is June 15 but I wanted to get this done so I don't have to worry about it any more. I have a few more I could enter, but I'm going to New Mexico in less than a week so I don't have time to mess with any more.
We Really Shouldn't - I had an idea for a story and I was stuck on my MM, so when I need to break, I'll write for a few TMTs, just writing with no plot. I'm at 7,856 words without a plan, so it's a little different. I don't know what kind of story it's going to be - adventure, romance, combination? With the MM being such an intense story to work through, it gives me a nice writing break, if you will.
I wrote over 40 TMTs this week. I hope to get some more done before I leave for New Mexico. I'm committed to doing at least one a day as I haven't missed a day yet in 2020, but I don't expect to have much time to write. We got the rest of Sydney's stuff from her apartment. she's now a full-fledged Halstead resident again. And she turned 22 last week. Wow!

Not a lot done this week except I did get some stuff moved from Kara's garage to the house. Angie was supposed to help me get the art studio set up but she vanished in mid-job. She said she'd come back but I'm only giving her until Monday. If it isn't done by Monday I will handle it on Tuesday. I need my studio.
Tomorrow I'm catching up on the bookwork and business that I've put off all week. I finally got my marriage license and birth certificate so I can get a lot of stuff done.
My house is clean. Josh is set up for PT and Speech. I'm beginning to feel like I'm home.

I got some writing done, and kept my TMT streak going, but overall my writing time was down. So busy getting ready for vacation. I drove to New Mexico yesterday. Tomorrow is Carol's birthday (she's 40) and Wednesday is Dad's. Should be a fun week but I don't expect to get much writing done.

Enjoy your time. I cherish every moment I ever got with family and its never enough. The sales rep for the vertical lift and the ceiling lift is stopping by tomorrow. I should get more information about the products and see if I can get them ordered. I'm wading through a lot of legal hoops to get everything in my name and up-to-date. Angie and Kara are both helping me get the house in order. The art studio is not functional enough to use it. Not the finished product but I can paint in there. Once I get the drafting table home, I can set it up and Joshua can start painting again too.
Again, enjoy your vacation. I'll be so glad to see you when you get back.

I did something today that I didn't think I'd ever do. I re-joined Mystery Writers of America. Mostly because they now offer active membership for independent authors. I'll see how it goes. I haven't given up yet. I just don't know if I'll be as visible online. I'm tired of chasing the end of the rainbow. I don't run so good anymore. I'll just write my stories and be happy.

I'll be interested to hear how your experience goes. Since I'm writing a mystery series I should consider MWA, though I probably won't seriously look into it until next year, unless of course my mystery gets picked up by an agent. I had a great visit in Roswell. I think almost every morning I got at least thirty minutes or writing done before I went for my morning run, so I got a little accomplished on the trip. I wish I had the discipline to start every day that way, but I can't make myself get up that early.

sounds like a really good vacation. I don't feel like I got very much done this week but I got the computer ready for Sharon except it needs updated to match the new pages put on Joshua's eye gaze computer. I got more stuff out of storage and put away and my piano is home. I haven't forgotten everything I was working on before it went into storage. I wish I could take a music theory course or one on song writing. Somehow get some critique on what I'm creating. Or a grade. I wish I knew if I was learning anything worthwhile but I guess I'll settle for fun.
I'm having trouble with the help. They aren't showing up to work. Since they are family members, I feel bad firing them but it may come to that. I need regular help showing up on time. The work may not seem important to them but without them I can't work a solid personal work week into my schedule.
I hope you had a wonderful father's day. I spent most of it being sad regretting that Hank wasn't here for it. I'll get over this. The letter I got on coping with grief said that holidays could be hard. This one sure is.
I don't know if joining MWA makes any kind of difference. Just a random thing so I don't feel so inept. I keep thinking about closing down the websites, then I think I'd hate to have to rebuild them. I am thinking about not having all the stuff attached to it like Akismet that catches all the spam. Spam can clutter it up so fast.
I'm tired, a bit discouraged, and I'll feel better tomorrow after a good nights sleep.
