I sit alone, I must be frank, The page is bare, my mind is blank Problems, I don't need this sort I must write, time's running short
Only if I could tune out And figure what to write about Maybe I should a poem pen About how I am stuck again
Is it cheating to write down A letter, verb, or weak pronoun Just so I can say I wrote Even a short, simple note
I'll just quit because I'm stuck And I just don't give a luck- Y for me my muse jumped in So now my writing can begin

I can't believe I just now saw this. I'm so sorry. It reminds me of Mom, and Kathy, and your mom. Poetry with truth and humor. The worse part of writers block is when you're on a deadline and you have only hours to finish it before you submit. Newspaper writing gave me the best foundation for plowing through to the end.

No problem! I was blank at lunch one day and came up with this. Thought it was cute and fun.
